The Aurelia Cup is finished in a rich purple glaze scattered with fine white speckles that emerge during the firing. The glaze moves freely across the surface, creating subtle shifts in tone that vary from piece to piece.
Its angular form sets it apart, with gently sharpened lines that feel deliberate in the hand. Designed for cappuccinos and americanos, the cup is shaped to be cradled fully in the palms, allowing warmth to linger as the drink is enjoyed.
The form was developed through repeated trial and refinement, with careful attention given to balance, proportion, and comfort. Made and sealed by hand, the structure takes longer to shape on the wheel, reflecting the extra consideration behind its design.

The Nature of Handmade
Each piece is made individually, shaped and finished by hand in our workshop. From forming to final firing, it takes an average of seven days for a piece to come to life. We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our work.
Subtle variations in form, glaze, and tone are inherent to the process and part of what gives each piece its character.
