Are your ceramics dishwasher safe?
Absolutely. We design our pieces for the modern table, which means they are built to be used. All Bodiam Foundry ceramics are dishwasher safe up to 140°F.
While our standard pieces handle the machine beautifully, some of our more architectural objects, like the oversized oval serving bowls and platters, may be a tight fit. If an item can’t sit securely without touching other dishes, we recommend a hand wash to ensure its longevity.
Are your products microwave-safe?
Yes. Our ceramics are high-fired for durability and are perfectly safe for microwave use. As with any artisanal stoneware, the material may retain heat, so we recommend using a pot holder or kitchen towel when removing a piece that has been heating for an extended period.
How long will it take to get my orders?
Each Bodiam Foundry piece is an exercise in intentional craftsmanship, and our shipping process reflects that same level of care.
- Processing: All in-stock objects are prepared and dispatched from our studio within 2–4 business days. During new collection launches, this window may extend slightly—we will always reach out to you directly if a delay is expected.
- Transit: Once your order leaves our hands, it typically arrives within 5–10 business days. While we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates due to carrier schedules, you will receive a tracking number via email the moment your package is on its way.
- Complimentary Shipping: We are pleased to offer complimentary shipping on all orders over $150. For orders under this amount, rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
Can I buy a replacement lid for my teapot(s)?
Yes ofcourse! We want your Bodiam Foundry pieces to remain in use for a lifetime. Please email us at support@bodiamfoundry.com and we will send you a direct link to purchase a replacement.
Do you do bespoke colors?
We frequently collaborate with clients to develop custom glaze palettes for specific projects and interiors. If you are looking for a particular finish to complement your space, please contact us at support@bodiamfoundry.com to discuss a commission.
Shipping & Delivery
Can I send my item as a gift?
Yes of course! You can include a gift note in your shopping cart (linked here) which will be hand-written onto a notecard and enclosed with a gift receipt within your parcel, making sending beautiful handmade presents incredibly easy!
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship all over the world - just put your address in at checkout for tailored shipping rates.
Packaging Wares for transit
Packing ceramics well is its own craft. Each piece arrives in a bespoke box made from recycled or responsibly sourced paper, with paper-based protective wrap in place of plastic bubble wrap. It’s fully recyclable and designed to be reused while keeping your order safe in transit.
Returns
Return policy
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging. If your order arrives damaged, email support@bodiamfoundry.com within 48 hours with photos so we can help.
My item is damaged on delivery
We’re so sorry this happened! Please email us as soon as possible at support@bodiamfoundry.com with photos of the damage (and the packaging if you can), plus your order number. We’ll review it quickly and make it right.
